A very contemporary Christmas Card

This is my entry into the Creative Cardmaking Competition in Issue 33. Unfortunately because I have used acetate is has been quite hard to get a good picture. I used the paper from the issue, mounted onto black card and covered with acetate. I cut the poinsettas in black shiny card using a Mariannes Design die and used a Craftwork Cards message. .

A birthday card for a friend's grand daughter's 1st birthday.

Marie Curie Cancer Care Event

These cards were made for the Make, Take and Cake event we held in aid of the Marie Curie Cancer Care Charity at In2crafting. We raised over £100 on the day. We plan to hold another one featuring Christmas cards on 19th November.

Creative Cardmaking

This is a card I made for the Creative Cardmaking Competition using the Nitwits Collection from Issue 32.
I cut  squares from the papers and added to a square card using one of the toppers in the collection onto a scalloped oval nestability shaded with spun sugar distress ink. The flowers were from some my sister brought me back from America.

Card for my Aunt Nell

This is the card I made for my Aunt Nell's 90th birthday. I used a rose topper from one of my magazines onto a lacy square nestability. i made the rose added a gem and attached to my ribbon.

Boys and girls come out to play

I missed the deadline for the Wild West challenge at "do it with digis", luckily the card will be suitable for the latest one. I bought the digi image from Bugaboo Stamps and coloured it using promarkers and cut the image out with my new Grand Calibur. The sentiment I designed myself using Publisher and is my first attempt at this so i was quite pleased. The paper and buttons are from my stash.

I am entering it in the doitwithdigis challemge

January family birthday cards

Here is a card I made for my brother in law. This gave me a chance to play with one of my new "nesties" I got for Christmas.

Using the same set of papers from Making Cards magazine I made the above card for my husband's aunt.
She likes owls and this seemed good, it is difficult to see properly as the front is a sheet of acetate and doesn't photograph well. The flowers are some that my sister brought me back from Florida.

My new Grandnephew

This is a bit of a catch up post as I have been so busy I haven't had time to put on my latest cards, but here goes. Jake was a December baby and this card was made with a lovely Kanban kit which I used to make an easel card and I also put his name on.
